Why I Write

Welcome to the House of Barnes. The people in the stories are not complex or complicated. The stories they tell themselves to achieve the goals they set before themselves are — stories that outgrow the truth, and what it costs to keep running something that works but isn't real is where everything gets interesting. If you watch with a careful lens, you'll see where the lies lead versus where the truth gets put down. These stories are told from the most honest perspective I can give.
